Services at the WECHS Veterinary Clinic are limited to spay/neuter and wellness services. Outside of these procedures you must obtain services from another full service clinic.
In order to comply with the College of Veterinarians of Ontario guidelines, appointments must be booked by/with and in the name of the pet owner or caregiver, and the owner or caregiver must be present at the time of drop off for surgery or wellness. In the event of unforeseen circumstances that arise last minute and the owner cannot be present in person the morning of surgery the owner MUST contact us prior to the appointment for approval.
For Spay/Neuter:
Your pet must be between the ages of 4 months-5years and over 3 pounds or surgery will be declined.
Bloodwork ($75) is mandatory for any pet between 4-5years.
Surgery may be declined if your pet has a heart murmur, coughing, sneezing, congestion, nasal or ocular discharge, or based on any other condition the veterinarian believes will present an undue surgical risk. Your pet's well-being is our priority.
A maximum of 2 cats can be booked daily per person/household.
Please note for surgery: You can only book 1 cat in at a time, you must submit your booking and book in the second cat if you have one.
For Wellness Clinics: You can book two pets in the same booking.
